The Longmeadow Lancers lacrosse team scored 18 points and held the host Westfield Bombers to 4 in the Lancers league win on Friday.
The Lancers (7-1) will now prepare for their match against Pope Francis (Chicopee, MA). The Cardinals go into the Valley Wheel match with a 3-5 record. In their last match, Pope Francis was overwhelmed by East Longmeadow (East Longmeadow, MA), 7-6, in a non-league match.
The Bombers (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Iona Prep (New Rochelle, NY). The Gaels go into the non-league match with a 9-2 record. In their last match, Iona Prep prevailed over Bergen Catholic (Oradell, NJ), 9-7, in a non-league match.
