In Friday's league battle, the Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI) lacrosse squad routed the host Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI), by a count of 16-3.
Coming up next, the Crusaders clash with the Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI) in a Division 2 battle, on Saturday, April 30. Prout will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Chargers come into the battle with a 5-3 record after their 14-2 league win over Coventry (Coventry, RI).
The Huskies now own a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westerly for a Division 2 battle on Tuesday, May 3. Mt. Hope will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 19-2 league loss to Cumberland (Cumberland, RI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-7.
