Illinois High School Softball - Ashton-Franklin Center loses to Amboy

The Amboy Clippers softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders to 1 in the Clippers league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Amboy moves its record to 4-9 on the year. The Clippers host Marquette (Ottawa, IL) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league game on Saturday, May 7. The Crusaders come into the game with a record of 9-8.
In their next game, the Raiders clash with the Polo Marcos (Polo, IL) in a NUIC East game, on Tuesday, May 3. Ashton-Franklin Center will attempt to move on its 0-12 season record.
