Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Northridge Jaguars (Tuscaloosa, AL) and the visiting Bibb County Choctaws (Centreville, AL), witnessed Northridge's softball squad tip Bibb County by a count of 7-6.

The Jaguars now sport a 7-17 record. They play next when they travel to Hillcrest for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 3. Northridge will face a Patriots squad coming off a 10-6 non-league win over Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL). The Patriots record now stands at 20-11.

With the loss, Bibb County moves to 17-7 on the season. The Choctaws host Dallas County (Plantersville, AL) to face the Hornets in a 4A Area 5 match on Tuesday, May 3. The Hornets go into the match with a record of 7-7. Dallas County won 16-9 in their recent non-league match against Keith (Orrville, AL)
