The Bronson Eagles (Bronson, FL) softball nipped the host Crescent City Raiders (Crescent City, FL), 1-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Eagles (12-6) will now prepare for their bout against Trenton (Trenton, FL). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 9-10 record. In their last bout, Trenton held off Chiefland (Chiefland, FL), 14-5, in a league bout.
The Raiders now possess a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Umatilla for a non-league bout on Monday, May 2. Crescent City will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 13-1 non-league loss to Lake Minneola (Minneola, FL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-12.
