Spectators at Friday's league match between the El Camino Wildcats (Oceanside, CA) and the visiting Canyon Crest Academy Ravens (San Diego, CA), witnessed El Camino's softball squad tip Canyon Crest Academy by a count of 9-4.

The Wildcats now sport a 14-6 record. They play next when they host Rancho Buena Vista for a Coastal North County match on Monday, May 2. El Camino will face a Longhorns squad coming off a 9-1 league win over La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, CA). The Longhorns record now stands at 12-8.

With the loss, Canyon Crest Academy moves to 4-16 on the season. The Ravens host San Dieguito Academy (Encinitas, CA) to face the Mustangs in a non-league match on Monday, May 2. The Mustangs go into the match with a record of 13-10. San Dieguito Academy won 10-0 in their recent league match against Vista (Vista, CA)
