Jersey Shore Bulldogs (Jersey Shore, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Central Mountain Wildcats (Mill Hall, PA), 4-3 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Williamsport for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 2. Jersey Shore will battle a Millionaires squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Punxsutawney (Punxsutawney, PA). The Millionaires record now stands at 8-3.

With the loss, Central Mountain falls to 12-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Danville (Danville, PA) to battle the Ironmen in a Heartland I challenge on Tuesday, May 3. The Ironmen enter the challenge with a record of 6-4. Danville won 11-2 in their recent league challenge against Milton (Milton, PA)
