Spectators at Friday's league match between the Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) and the host Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD), witnessed Chopticon's softball squad prevail over Great Mills by a count of 18-0.

The Braves now sport a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to North Point for a Southern Maryland match on Monday, May 2. Chopticon will face a Eagles squad coming off a 4-3 league loss to Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, Great Mills moves to 2-12 on the season. The Hornets host Westlake (Waldorf, MD) to face the Wolverines in a Southern Maryland match on Monday, May 2. The Wolverines go into the match with a record of 0-11. Westlake lost 14-0 in their recent league match against Northern (Owings, MD)
