In Friday's league contest, the Coupeville Wolves (Coupeville, WA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Orcas Island Vikings (Eastsound, WA), by a margin of 19-2.
With the triumph, Coupeville moves its record to 15-2 on the year. The Wolves travel to Darrington (Darrington, WA) to play the Loggers in a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 3. The Loggers come into the contest with a record of 4-2. Darrington won 19-2 in their recent non-league test against LaConner (LaConner, WA)
The Vikings (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Friday Harbor (Friday Harbor, WA). The Wolverines come into the 1B/2B Northwest test with a 4-5 record.
