The Williamsburg Wildcats softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host East Clinton Astros to 2 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Williamsburg improves its record to 10-5 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Georgetown (Georgetown, OH) to clash with the G-Men in a Southern Buckeye AA - National game on Monday, May 2. The G-Men come into the game with a record of 8-7. Georgetown won 11-3 in their recent non-league game against Eastern (Sardinia, OH)

In their next game, the Astros clash with the Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington Blue Jays (Ripley, OH) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 30. East Clinton will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Blue Jays come into the game with a 3-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Manchester (Manchester, OH).
