In Friday's league contest, the Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC) softball team the host East Wake Academy Eagles (Zebulon, NC), by a margin of 6-3.

With the triumph, Falls Lake moves its record to 12-5 on the year. The Firebirds host Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC) to clash with the Patriots in a Super Six 1A/2A test on Tuesday, May 3. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 1-6.

The Eagles (4-9) will now prepare for their test against N.C. School of Science & Math (Durham, NC). The Unicorns come into the Super Six 1A/2A test with a 2-5 record.
