In Friday's league game, the Mount Desert Island Trojans (Mount Desert, ME) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Foxcroft Academy Ponies (Dover-Foxcroft, ME), by a score of 13-3.
With the triumph, Mount Desert Island improves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Trojans travel to John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME) to clash with the Crusaders in a Class B North game on Monday, May 2. The Crusaders come into the game with a record of 3-1. John Bapst Memorial won 11-1 in their recent league game against Caribou (Caribou, ME)
In their next game, the Ponies clash with the Dexter Tigers (Dexter, ME) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 2. Foxcroft Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
