Heritage Timberwolves (Vancouver, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Kelso Hilanders (Kelso, WA), 17-0 in a league challenge.

The Timberwolves now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Skyview for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 2. Heritage will battle a Storm squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Battle Ground (Battle Ground, WA). The Storm record now stands at 13-0.

With the loss, Kelso falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Hilanders travel to Prairie (Vancouver, WA) to battle the Falcons in a 3A Greater St. Helens challenge on Monday, May 2. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 7-3. Prairie lost 4-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Battle Ground (Battle Ground, WA)
