The Highland Park Giants (Highland Park, IL) softball triumphed over the visiting Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL), 13-3 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Giants now own a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hoffman Estates for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 30. Highland Park will battle a Hawks squad coming off a 14-13 league loss to Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 1-13.

With the loss, Lake Forest falls to 0-13 on the campaign. The Scouts travel to Zion-Benton (Zion, IL) to battle the Zee-Bees in a North Suburban challenge on Monday, May 2. The Zee-Bees enter the challenge with a record of 4-4.
