The Hononegah Indians softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Jefferson J-Hawks to 0 in the Indians league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Hononegah moves its record to 11-1 on the year. The Indians travel to Huntley (Huntley, IL) to clash with the Red Raiders in a non-league game on Wednesday, May 4. The Red Raiders come into the game with a record of 17-5. Huntley won 8-0 in their recent league game against Central (Burlington, IL)

In their next game, the J-Hawks clash with the Guilford Vikings (Rockford, IL) in a Northern Illinois NIC-9 game, on Monday, May 2. Jefferson will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Vikings come into the game with a 2-10 record after their 5-0 league loss to Belvidere North (Belvidere, IL).
