North Carolina High School Softball - North Gaston bounces Huss

April 29, 2022: Gastonia, NC 28052

North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC), 16-0 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 12-9 record. They take the field next when they host Stuart W. Cramer for a Big South 3A challenge on Tuesday, May 3. North Gaston will battle a Storm squad coming off a 7-6 league win over Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Storm record now stands at 17-3.

With the loss, Huss falls to 0-14 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Crest (Shelby, NC) to battle the Chargers in a Big South 3A challenge on Tuesday, May 3. The Chargers enter the challenge with a record of 18-2.
