Loyalton Grizzlies (Loyalton, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Princeton Eagles (Princeton, CA), 23-1 in a league challenge.

The Grizzlies now own a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lassen for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 4.

With the loss, Princeton falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Happy Camp (Happy Camp, CA) to battle the Indians in a Evergreen challenge on Monday, May 2. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 2-4. Happy Camp won 21-10 in their recent league challenge against Hayfork (Hayfork, CA)
