Indiana High School Softball - Rising Sun bounces Milan

The Rising Sun Shiners routed the host Milan Indians softball squad by a final score of 6-1 in Friday's league battle.

The Shiners (11-2) will now prepare for their battle against Jac-Cen-Del (Osgood, IN). The Eagles go into the Ohio River Valley battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, Jac-Cen-Del was routed by Borden (Borden, IN), 13-0, in a non-league battle.

The Indians now possess a 1-9 record. They play next when they host South Ripley for a Ohio River Valley battle on Monday, May 2. Milan will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 7-5 non-league win over North Decatur (Greensburg, IN). The Raiders record now stands at 9-2.
