The St. Bernard Saints (Uncasville, CT) softball routed the host New London Whalers (New London, CT), 11-3 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Saints (7-2) will now prepare for their bout against Montville (Oakdale, CT). The Indians go into the non-league bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, Montville notched a victory over Wheeler (North Stonington, CT), 7-2, in a non-league bout.
The Whalers now possess a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to St. Bernard for a non-league bout on Thursday, May 5. New London will confront a Saints squad coming off a 10-4 non-league loss to Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT). The Saints record now stands at 8-3.
