New Richmond Lions (New Richmond, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Wilmington Hurricane (Wilmington, OH), 11-0 in a league challenge.

The Lions now own a 15-1 record. They take the field next when they host Western Brown for a Southern Buckeye AA - American challenge on Monday, May 2. New Richmond will battle a Broncos squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Springboro (Springboro, OH). The Broncos record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, Wilmington falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Hurricane travel to Goshen (Goshen, OH) to battle the Warriors in a Southern Buckeye AA - American challenge on Monday, May 2. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 3-13.
