In Friday's league contest, the North Little Rock Charging Wildcats (North Little Rock, AR) softball team held off the visiting Northside Grizzlies (Fort Smith, AR), by a margin of 3-2.
With the triumph, North Little Rock moves its record to 8-5 on the year. The Charging Wildcats travel to Bryant (Bryant, AR) to play the Hornets in a 6A Central contest on Tuesday, May 3. The Hornets come into the contest with a record of 9-3.
In their next game, the Grizzlies play the Cabot Panthers (Cabot, AR) in a 6A Central contest, on Tuesday, May 3. Northside will attempt to move on its 13-11 season record.
