North Carolina High School Softball - Tuscola can't get by Pisgah

In Friday's league contest, the Pisgah Bears (Canton, NC) softball team held off the visiting Tuscola Mountaineers (Waynesville, NC), by a margin of 2-1.

With the triumph, Pisgah moves its record to 7-10 on the year. The Bears host East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC) to play the Eagles in a Mountain Seven 3A contest on Monday, May 2. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 6-11. East Henderson won 13-5 in their recent league contest against North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC)

In their next game, the Mountaineers play the Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC) in a Mountain Seven 3A contest, on Tuesday, May 3. Tuscola will attempt to move on its 12-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 10-8 record after their 10-0 league win over Franklin (Franklin, NC).
