The St. John Paul II Falcons routed the host Tanner Rattlers softball squad by a final score of 18-1 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Falcons (5-10) will now prepare for their battle against Madison Academy (Madison, AL). The Mustangs go into the non-league battle with a 14-6 record. In their last battle, Madison Academy was routed by Madison County (Gurley, AL), 8-4, in a non-league battle.

The Rattlers now possess a 1-14 record. They play next when they travel to Falkville for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 3. Tanner will meet a Blue Devils squad coming off a 14-9 non-league win over Winston County (Double Springs, AL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 16-7.
