In Saturday's non-league game, the host St. John Paul II Lions baseball team scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Carver Crusaders.
The Lions (5-4) will now prepare for their game against Sturgis West (Hyannis, MA). The Navigators go into the Cape & Islands game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Sturgis West tipped Nantucket (Nantucket, MA), 10-3, in a league game.
