The Thurston Colts (Springfield, OR) baseball trounced the visiting Churchill Lancers (Eugene, OR), 20-1 in Saturday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Colts play the Eagle Point Eagles (Eagle Point, OR) in a 5A Midwestern contest, on Tuesday, May 2. Thurston will attempt to better on its 15-3 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 9-7 record after their 13-10 league win over Crater (Central Point, OR).

The Lancers now sport a 6-10 record. They take the field next when they host Willamette for a non-league contest on Saturday, May 6.
