In Saturday's league challenge, the Colorado Springs Christian Lions (Colorado Springs, CO) baseball squad nipped the visiting St. Mary's Pirates (Colorado Springs, CO), by a margin of 6-5.

With the win, Colorado Springs Christian betters its record to 10-3 on the season. The Lions host Peyton (Peyton, CO) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 2. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 14-0. Peyton won 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Ellicott (Calhan, CO)

With the defeat, St. Mary's falls to 7-8 on the season. The Pirates host Lamar (Lamar, CO) to encounter the Thunder in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 3. The Thunder come into the challenge with a record of 9-6. Lamar won 6-5 in their recent league challenge against Manitou Springs (Manitou Springs, CO)
