Traip Rangers (Kittery, ME) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Mount View Mustangs (Thorndike, ME), 2-1 in a non-league match.

The Rangers (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Waynflete (Portland, ME). The Flyers go into the Class C South match with a 5-0 record. In their last match, Waynflete tipped Maranacook (Readfield, ME), 9-2, in a league match.

The Mustangs (2-4) will now prepare for their match against St. Dominic (Lewiston, ME). The Saints go into the non-league match with a 4-1 record.
