The Canfield Cardinals lacrosse team scored 13 points and limited the visiting Western Reserve Academy Pioneers to 11 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Cardinals (9-2) will now prepare for their game against Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin (Chardon, OH). The Lions enter the Region 6 game with a 8-1 record. In their last game, Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin edged Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH), 10-8, in a league game.
The Pioneers (4-7) will now prepare for their game against St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, OH). The Fighting Irish enter the non-league game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, St. Vincent-St. Mary edged Holy Name (Parma Heights, OH), 9-4, in a league game.
