In Saturday's league game, the host Doherty Spartans baseball team scored a tight 13-6 victory over the Rampart Rams.
The Spartans (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Fountain-Fort Carson (Fountain, CO). The Trojans go into the game with a 2-5 record.
The Rams (4-7) will now prepare for their game against Liberty (Colorado Springs, CO). The Lancers go into the game with a 6-5 record. In their last game, Liberty was overwhelmed by Pine Creek (Colorado Springs, CO), 9-7, in a non-league game.
