In Saturday's non-league contest, the Valley View Spartans (Germantown, OH) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Archbishop Alter Knights (Kettering, OH), by a margin of 9-4.
With the triumph, Valley View moves its record to 6-11 on the year. The Spartans host Brookville (Brookville, OH) to play the Blue Devils in a Southwestern Buckeye - Southwestern contest on Wednesday, May 3. The Blue Devils come into the contest with a record of 9-9.
In their next game, the Knights play the Yellow Springs Bulldogs (Yellow Springs, OH) in a non-league contest, on Monday, May 1. Archbishop Alter will attempt to move on its 2-10 season record.
