The West Valley Central Wildcats routed the host Brocton Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 11-4 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Wildcats (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Ellicottville (Ellicottville, NY). The Eagles go into the Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus II East battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Ellicottville was routed by North Collins (North Collins, NY), 14-13, in a league battle.

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gowanda for a non-league outing on Wednesday, May 3. Brocton will encounter a Panthers team coming off a 3-1 league win over Randolph (Randolph, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 7-5.
