With the triumph, Newark Catholic improves its record to 15-7 on the year. The Green Wave travel to Watkins Memorial (Pataskala, OH) to clash with the Warriors in a Licking County game on Wednesday, May 3. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 19-0. Watkins Memorial won 6-4 in their recent league game against Heath (Heath, OH)

In their next game, the Freddies clash with the Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies (Johnstown, OH) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, May 2. Fredericktown will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record. The Johnnies come into the game with a 17-2 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, OH).
