The Mathews Mustangs routed the host Harding Skippers softball squad by a final score of 14-2 in Saturday's league battle.

The Mustangs (12-4) will now prepare for their battle against St. John (Ashtabula, OH). The Fighting Herald go into the Northeastern Athletic battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, St. John notched a victory over Harding (Fairport Harbor, OH), 7-2, in a league battle.

The Skippers now possess a 0-10 record. They play next when they host Bloomfield for a Northeastern Athletic battle on Monday, May 1. Harding will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 12-9 non-league loss to Cardinal Mooney (Youngstown, OH). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-6.
