Nevada High School Softball - Wooster can't get by Hug

In Saturday's league contest, the Hug Hawks (Reno, NV) softball team held off the visiting Wooster Colts (Reno, NV), by a margin of 23-22.

With the triumph, Hug moves its record to 3-14 on the year. The Hawks host Dayton (Dayton, NV) to play the Dust Devils in a non-league contest on Wednesday, May 3. The Dust Devils come into the contest with a record of 8-11. Dayton won 4-3 in their recent league contest against Elko (Elko, NV)

In their next game, the Colts play the North Valleys Panthers (Reno, NV) in a 3A North - West contest, on Friday, May 5. Wooster will attempt to move on its 5-13 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 17-1 record after their 12-2 league win over South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA).
