The Mariners now own a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hilltop for a Metro South Bay challenge on Tuesday, May 2. Mar Vista will battle a Lancers squad coming off a 3-2 league win over San Ysidro (San Diego, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 10-11.

With the loss, Montgomery falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Aztecs travel to Chula Vista (Chula Vista, CA) to battle the Spartans in a Metro Pacific challenge on Tuesday, May 2. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 12-7. Chula Vista lost 9-6 in their recent non-league challenge against San Diego (San Diego, CA)
