Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Mercedes Tigers (Mercedes, TX) and the host Rowe Warriors (McAllen, TX), witnessed Mercedes's softball squad tip Rowe by a count of 8-3.

The Tigers now sport a 26-5 record. They play next when they travel to Gregory-Portland for a non-league match on Thursday, May 4. Mercedes will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Palmview (La Joya, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 22-9.

The Warriors now possess a 8-14 record.
