The Admirals come into the contest with a record of 2-14. Danville lost 14-1 in their recent non-league contest against Bardstown (Bardstown, KY)

In their next game, the Hornets play the Russell County Lakers (Russell Springs, KY) in a District 16 contest, on Tuesday, May 2. Metcalfe County will attempt to move on its 3-16 season record. The Lakers come into the contest with a 4-15 record after their 11-2 non-league loss to Rockcastle County (Mt. Vernon, KY).
