In Saturday's non-league contest, the North Jackson Chiefs (Stevenson, AL) softball team overwhelmed the host Pisgah Eagles (Pisgah, AL), by a margin of 11-4.

With the triumph, North Jackson upgrades its record to 27-11 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to New Hope (New Hope, AL) to battle the Indians in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 1. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 18-16. New Hope won 15-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Guntersville (Guntersville, AL)

With the loss, Pisgah falls to 4-16 on the campaign.
