The Northwest Texans (Justin, TX) softball routed the host South Hills Scorpions (Fort Worth, TX), 19-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Texans (18-6) will now prepare for their bout against South Hills (Fort Worth, TX). The Scorpions go into the non-league bout with a 10-8 record. In their last bout, South Hills toppled Polytechnic (Fort Worth, TX), 14-0, in a league bout.
The Scorpions now possess a 10-10 record. They play next when they travel to Northwest for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 29. South Hills will confront a Texans squad coming off a 8-0 league win over Rider (Wichita Falls, TX). The Texans record now stands at 16-6.
