Spectators at Monday's league battle between the Palmerton Blue Bombers (Palmerton, PA) and the host Catasauqua Rough Riders (Catasauqua, PA), saw Palmerton's baseball squad beat Catasauqua by a margin of 12-2.

Coming up next, the Blue Bombers play the Northern Lehigh Bulldogs (Slatington, PA) in a Colonial battle, on Tuesday, April 30. Palmerton will attempt to better on its 5-12 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 3-12 record after their 7-4 league loss to Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA).

The Rough Riders now sport a 2-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wilson Area for a Colonial battle on Wednesday, May 1. Catasauqua will play a Warriors squad coming off a 9-0 league loss to Palisades (Kintnersville, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 9-7.
