The Patuxent Panthers baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Great Mills Hornets to 4 in the Panthers league victory on Monday.

The Panthers (11-2) will now prepare for their match against Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD). The Cavaliers go into the Southern Maryland match with a 3-14 record. In their last match, Calvert was overwhelmed by Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD), 13-3, in a league match.

The Hornets (12-4) will now prepare for their match against North Point (Waldorf, MD). The Eagles go into the Southern Maryland match with a 4-11 record. In their last match, North Point was overwhelmed by McDonough (Pomfret, MD), 9-6, in a league match.
