Vernon will face a Fighting Irish team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Helias (Jefferson City, MO). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 7-11.

Next, the Tigers face the Mountain Grove Panthers (Mountain Grove, MO) in a Class 4 District 10 bout, on Thursday, May 2. Hollister will attempt to move on its 4-14 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 9-11 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Mansfield (Mansfield, MO).
