The Mill River Minutemen baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Twin Valley Wildcats to 1 in the Minutemen league victory on Monday.
The Minutemen (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Proctor (Proctor, VT). The Phantoms go into the SVL D match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Proctor gained a win over Poultney (Poultney, VT), 27-9, in a league match.
The Wildcats (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Leland & Gray (Townshend, VT). The Rebels go into the non-league match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Leland & Gray was overwhelmed by Arlington Memorial (Arlington, VT), 8-7, in a league match.
