The Proctor Phantoms baseball team scored 27 runs and limited the visiting Poultney Blue Devils to 9 in the Phantoms league victory on Monday.

The Phantoms (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Mill River (North Clarendon, VT). The Minutemen go into the SVL D match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, Mill River ran past Twin Valley (Wilmington, VT), 16-1, in a league match.

The Blue Devils (0-5) will now prepare for their match against West Rutland (West Rutland, VT). The Golden Horde go into the SVL D match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, West Rutland was overwhelmed by Rivendell Academy (Orford, NH), 5-4, in a league match.
