The Taft School Big Red crushed the host Trinity-Pawling School Pride baseball team by a tally of 22-8 in Monday's league bout.

The Big Red now hold a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they host Choate Rosemary Hall School for a Founders bout on Wednesday, May 1. Taft School will face a Wild Boars team coming off a 13-3 league loss to Loomis Chaffee School (Windsor, CT). The Wild Boars record now stands at 9-4.

Next, the Pride face the Kingswood Oxford Wyverns (West Hartford, CT) in a Founders bout, on Wednesday, May 1. Trinity-Pawling School will attempt to advance on its 3-8 season record. The Wyverns enter the bout with a 9-4 record after their 10-7 league loss to Westminster School (Simsbury, CT).
