With the win, West Wilkes upgrades its record to 13-9 on the season. The Blackhawks travel to North Surry (Mount Airy, NC) to battle the Greyhounds in a Foothills 2A challenge on Tuesday, April 30. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a record of 14-8. North Surry won 7-3 in their recent league challenge against North Wilkes (Hays, NC)

With the defeat, Wilkes Central falls to 7-14 on the season.
