The Camden County Bruins (Camden, NC) soccer nudged the host Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC), 1-0 in Monday's non-league bout.

With the win, Camden County moves its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Bruins host Holmes (Edenton, NC) to battle the Aces in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A bout on Wednesday, May 1. The Aces go into the bout with a record of 9-10. Holmes lost 9-1 in their recent league bout against First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC)
