In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Monticello Mustangs baseball team scored a nice 22-8 victory over the Waynesboro Little Giants.
The Mustangs (8-2) will now prepare for their game against Louisa County (Mineral, VA). The Lions go into the non-league game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Louisa County overcame Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA), 6-4, in a non-league game.
The Little Giants (4-10) will now prepare for their game against Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA). The Cougars go into the non-league game with a 6-10 record. In their last game, Stuarts Draft was overwhelmed by Riverheads (Staunton, VA), 15-5, in a non-league game.
