The Archbishop Williams Bishops (Braintree, MA) softball nipped the visiting St. Mary's Spartans (Lynn, MA), 8-7 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Bishops (4-1) will now prepare for their bout against Bishop Fenwick (Peabody, MA). The Crusaders go into the non-league bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Bishop Fenwick held off Gloucester (Gloucester, MA), 15-3, in a non-league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Arlington Catholic for a non-league bout on Wednesday, May 1.
