In Monday's non-league test, the host Greater Latrobe Wildcats lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-9 victory over the Hempfield Area Spartans.

The Wildcats now have a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Canon-McMillan for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 1. Greater Latrobe will face a Big Macs squad coming off a 18-5 league loss to Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh, PA). The Big Macs record now stands at 4-6.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Peters Township Indians (McMurray, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 1 test, on Wednesday, May 1. Hempfield Area will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record. The Indians come into the test with a 12-4 record after their 12-4 non-league loss to North Allegheny (Wexford, PA).
